Most Badminton rackets can be strung to tensions between 14-28 lbs. The higher the tension the more control can be felt and the lower the tension the more power can be obtained from the shot. When deciding a tension it is important to determine whether your game is more power orientated or touch orientated. Better players tend to go for higher tensions due to better control of the shot.
